Just like you were never here
Updated: Nov 22, 2021
Recently my family experienced losing a loved one. We all have had this happen to us. Sometimes when someone close to you has passed on, it's like they were so grand in life that it's hard to believe that they are no longer with us physically on this planet.
One day they are here with us, and in a blink of an eye, the next moment, they are gone. Although their memories and love will forever remain in our hearts and minds, it's a strange reality because it's like they were never here once they were gone.
It's not like we are talking hundreds of years ago that they were here with us; it's more like yesterday, last week, a day ago that they were right here in your face.
Death is hard to comprehend. After losing someone, everyone is mourning not long after; not only is the deceased gone, but all those who were there for you during your time of need are also gone.
The mysteries of life and death both go hand and hand. When you are born, you surely will one day die. I think that you really never die. I believe you are born again into something or someone else.
I do believe that when we transition to a different life, whatever it is that we become, we take pieces of who we were with us. We become a whole other matter that then intertwines with whatever or whomever we then become.
On to the next phase of life. I believe when a newborn baby is born into this life through their mother's passageway, they have already experienced life elsewhere.
I don't know if this is a test of some sort by being born and developing relationships with people, then losing them forever. I do believe that we're all a part of something bigger than what's being understood by us.
The pleasure and gift of being able to look at someone you love, or hold their hand or call them on the phone, or watch them as they dance, or watch them as they sleep, or talk shit with them is pure joy.
Multiple times you and a loved one who has passed on experience life together in this same realm, and like a soft whisper, they have quietly disappeared into thin air. Maybe you will think of that person, or hear their voice or look at a picture of them, but the awful fact is that they are no longer here, and we have to be strong and continue to live our lives without them.
We must be thankful and grateful for whom the Universe has brought into our space. When I meet someone, I am sincere with our time together. That is why I become devastated when someone does me wrong because my love and friendship are authentic. Life is an extraordinary experience that we all share. We will be spiritually, mentally, and physically linked to people throughout our journey. I thank the "Most High" for all the real people with a genuine love for me because when we were gone, it would be as if we were never here.
I send blessings and love to all my ancestors (friends and family). My love for you all will last for all eternity; memories of you all will never fade away. I love you, Kadale. ASE. Rest peacefully Vel.
