How do you heal yourself from you?

You cannot help people if you are damaged. You have first to heal yourself. Anything you want to be good at, you will have to become an expert in that area. Do you know yourself? Are you an expert in learning and understanding yourself?

Last fall, I began a spiritual journey of self depth. I joined a beautiful group of Queens on the same quest of enlightenment waves as myself. However, before I can move forward in my growth, I have to self-reflect on who I am and why.

I learned about shadow work. Shadow work for me has been the most challenging experience. Life was happening so fast that I was ignoring issues within myself. I learned that if I wanted a better me, I would first have to acknowledge what's broken to strengthen my inner power.

As with my Chakras, I began at the root, so this will be a deep, profound process. I assumed after that class; I had finally reached the surface of my existence. What I have learned is not to celebrate too fast or too loudly. Be discreet with who you've become. Everyone will see it. The work isn't easy. The work becomes easier once you have completely and correctly dissected who you are. You can't come wholly to someone if you're not whole. I love this process. It becomes a celebration once you begin uncovering layers and facing them. It's a release of negative things or habits or energies or people.

If you are repeating self-inflictions, you have to trace your steps to see why this is happening. You feel the way you do because of you. I had to learn and fully understand this. No one can heal me. You must put the work in for you, and if you are serious about it, serious things will unveil.

I learned that I could elevate higher once I come face to face with my whole essence. Understanding all of me is crucial in my growth. My inner work with being face to face with who I am is nothing to be taken lightly. I know that people are quick to look at someone with sober judgment and criticize out of ignorance. But you have no clue about their story. What if all that proves a display that you are not as well put together as you initially thought. You have issues going on with you so much that you can quickly look at someone or hear something about someone and easily form a false opinion. We should work more closely to healing ourselves.

Most times, we are the source of our pain. What are you placing onto yourself that's not beneficial to your being? I had to undo my toxic thought process. Usually, bad habits are hard to break. But for me, it's complex and surprising revealing things about yourself that weren't obvious to you. As you flow through this process, life will be more transparent and smooth. Those bumps and uncertainties and complications won't seem as difficult anymore.

I use much of my time connecting with myself. There are so many extraordinary qualities about me that I don't see in others. I see my beautiful uniqueness and strength, making me want to get to know myself even more. I begin to heal myself by understanding the absolute truth about myself.

Once I became aware of my reality of being ok to be that girl that people trust when they're in pain, I place more value on my worthiness and capabilities. I'm not your ordinary woman. I want to be deserving of people's trust in me. And I owe it to myself to heal the broken parts of me. I had to do some footwork to understand myself better. Know yourself before you go analyzing other folks. I've been there for people effortlessly because this comes naturally to me. What should come naturally for me also is my well-being. Bettering yourself does not have a set time. It is a continuous process.

Becoming a healer takes much strength. But, I am majestic, and I am capable of making anything happen for me. Peace and love to anyone reading this, and thank you for continuing with me on this beautiful journey.
